RV + Van Life with Diabetes
Power, Fridges, Refills, and Care From a Campsite
For full-timers, seasonal RVers and van-lifers living in a rig for weeks or months with diabetes.
Inside RV + Van Life with Diabetes
- The full guide, read online as a book, always current as new issues land
- Six short videos to share before or during the trip, added after launch. Everyone who bought earlier gets each one, and the price goes to $50 once all six are in.
- An overview deck that walks the whole trip in one sitting, for the planning talk at the kitchen table.
- One-page team cards for how your travelers talk and work together: a before-we-leave huddle card, a who-does-what card, a card for when something goes wrong, and one card per issue.
- Printable checklists: packing, an emergency protocol, and a partner discussion guide.
- A 6x9 paperback for the bag, with the team cards, checklists and emergency protocol each on its own page. It comes after the online guide.
The rig you pick decides where the insulin lives, and the fridge runs on propane, 12 volt or shore power depending on the day. You keep the pump charger powered at 2 AM, refill prescriptions when your address is a campground, and decide when no signal and a long way to care mean it is time to move closer. Driving days and hiking days can pull the numbers in different directions.
Two people share a small space for months, and the driver cannot also watch the sensor. The team cards set who watches the numbers on driving days and how the two of you split the chores that keep the supplies safe.
